Moved in lots of beds, set up the computer room (although we are still waiting on the DSL) then skated home, got boxes from Fiid and I’m starting packing tomorrow. Gotta pick up my check at CompUSA and pay rent, as well as get the new cell phone.

In other news, I hope the Tizz is ok, she fainted last Saturday. She sees the cardiologist tomorrow *prayers* I know she’s tough…

The Comet Skate Project

I met with Don and James today, and was stoked to have a little pow-wow in my place. I am really excited about this project, as it’s skateboarding and art. You can’t beat that. Things are finally picking up around here, this year has been ultra hectic as far as school goes, and it’s quite nice to have a respite from all the stress…that’s what skating is about.

Right on.

Kev’s Back and Late Skate Careers

Finally got to skate again with Kev, he met me at work *which was awesome* and we walked back to my place, and went down to SOMA. We found this great spot at De Haro, where we would come down a hill, hit a bump, then off a drop, to a ledge. I just went ollie, ollie, ollie….

Kev, was kickflip, ollie 180, nollie nose slide…wow…

or ollie 180, ollie 180, ollie, manual 180 out, nollie flip, ollie 180… hit the 5 trick goal….

IN other news, I’m inspired by one of Kev’s buddies who went pro at 30. There’s still hope for the skater who started at 21… (ie me)

I meet with Jim Sohm tomorrow to do paperwork for the SF Ballet, then Jury Duty ( I hope it doesn’t take long, as I want to start this new job) and then I have a meeting Tuesday night with comet, and Wednesday with Howard Fried. Hopefully in June I’ll be helping teach art as well, as a tutor.

*fingers crossed*

Hung out with trent a bit tonight at Johnny’s bar on O’ Farell…nice music, and I met some of his friends, and then on the way back in the Powell bart station there was a DC Shoes skate session going on…I don’t know the pros but it was fun to watch for a bit.

Another day at work, and I picked up my first check…I figured it would be about 600…no, sadly I won’t even have enough to make rent this month again…225.46. That’s it after working from the 19th to present. It seems like an eternity. They short changed me too…said I only worked 28 hrs. when I worked about 32…from the 19th to the 24th. In other news, I’ve now been changed from my present 9-5 (which I thought sat) to 3-11 nasty…

Good news today is I was thinking about Dan Traver, and how we ran into each other in Chicago…and who should I bump into, but Trent Stellingworth, he’s in town for the conference for Athletic Trainers.

So I’m thinking of going to try and find him at a bar tongiht…I know it’s on O’Farrel…but I can’t remember the name, as I was really in a rush to get back to work. It was one of those strange preminitions.

Also I got a call from Jim Sohm, but I wasn’t able to call him back, so I hope it’s good news regarding the SF Ballet Job. Hopefully we can speak soon…so I can get the heck out of the CompUSA situation…

And I’m called for Jury duty on Monday….I have to report to 400 McAllaster room 007…hopefully, no more after that, as I don’t want it to affect the SFB job.
